Wellness Wednesday
Anyone who has worked in care knows the shift rarely ends the moment you clock out. You might still be thinking about a patient on the drive home, or carrying the weight of a difficult day into the evening.
That's not a flaw, it's what happens when you genuinely care about people. Many professionals carry it. Few talk about it.
There's no single fix for that, and we'd never pretend otherwise. But naming it matters. So does having a staffing partner who builds schedules with recovery time in mind, and who listens when a placement isn't the right fit.
To everyone heading into a shift today: the care you give is seen, and so are you.
