At Meridian Spine & Joint Physiotherapy we believe that early physiotherapy will help reduce pain, improve mobility and strength and improve function.

At your initial assessment we will complete orthopedic tests to determine the cause of your shoulder pain. Your individualized rehabilitation program will be tailored for you based on the root cause of your shoulder pain. We complete differential testing to determine if your pain is due to: frozen shoulder, osteoarthritis, shoulder dislocation or subluxation, tears of the labrum(cartilage within shoulder joint), shoulder tendinitis and rotator cuff tears.

Meridian Spine & Joint physiotherapy has expertise in the assessment and treatment of low back pain. We know that most people will experience low back pain at some time in their lifetime.

Many people do get better within 6-12 weeks, but others are left with ongoing symptoms. X-rays and scans are not always necessary, in fact many people that do not have any symptoms will still show findings on X-rays. The most common is degenerative disc, which is part of natural aging of the spine.

At Meridian, we know that exercise is an important component of rehabilitation and prevention of chronic back pain.

Call us at (519) 471-7900 to have an assessment of your back today!
