Ready, aim, fire! 🎯

Our residents had a blast during target practice, putting their hand eye coordination to the test with some friendly Nerf gun competition. The goal was simple: knock down as many targets as possible while having plenty of laughs along the way!

Activities like this help keep us active, engaged, and having fun. Safe to say there were a few sharp shooters in the group! 😊

June is here, and our calendar is packed with fun, friendship, and plenty of opportunities to stay active and engaged! 🌼

This week we’re looking forward to our trip to the garden centre, and in just a couple of weeks we’ll be heading out on a shopping adventure. Along with our exciting outings, we’ve got lots of activities planned to keep both our bodies moving and our minds sharp.

From social gatherings to brain-boosting games and everything in between, there’s something for everyone at Waverley Mansion. If you see an activity that catches your eye, we’d love to have you join us!

Music with Michael Collins was a smashing success as always! 🎶🥁 Michael has such a special way of engaging everyone and bringing so much energy into the room. From percussion instruments to singing, clapping, dancing, and plenty of laughs, he makes sure every resident feels included and involved.

This visit was a couple of days ago and the residents are STILL talking about how much fun they had. We can’t wait to welcome Michael back for another fantastic afternoon of music and memories! 🎤✨

The countdown is officially on! 🌿🌸

Our residents have been eagerly waiting for our trip to the garden centre on June 4th, and we can’t wait to get our greenhouse filled up and put our green thumbs to work. From colourful flowers to fresh greenery, we already know this is going to be one of the highlights of the season at Waverley Mansion. 🌼🪴

Maximize Natural Light: Open the curtains during the day to let the sunshine in, which reduces eye strain.
Use High Contrast: Place dark objects against light backgrounds (like a dark coffee mug on a white table) to make them easier to see.
Reduce Glare: Use sheer blinds or matte finishes on floors and tables to prevent uncomfortable reflections.
