Love this šš»!
I think what gets me isnāt even the word anymore.
Itās the weight people put on it.
Like being āfatā is supposed to cancel everything else out about a person. Their character. Their life. Their heart. Their impact.
I just donāt see it that way.
My body might carry fat.
Cool. Thatās one detail.
But thatās not my identity.
My identity is how I show up for my life every day.
How I love.
How I care.
How I keep going, even when itās hard.
How Iām building something for myself and actually living my life.
There are so many worse things a person could be.
And somehow, this is the one people cling to?
If all you see when you look at someone is their bodyā¦
youāre missing everything that actually matters.
