3 things that give me the ICK about women’s health after 40 👇
❌ “Just eat less.”
Most women I know are already eating less than they think and exercising more than ever.
The real question is: are you supporting your metabolism, muscle, hormones, and cellular health?
❌ “Feeling exhausted is normal at your age.”
Common? Yes.
Normal? I’m not convinced.
Brain fog, fatigue, poor recovery, and feeling like a shell of yourself shouldn’t be ignored.
❌ “Everything goes downhill after 40.”
Nope.
I fully expect to be stronger at 50 than I was at 40.
Not because I’m fighting aging.
Because I’m supporting my body differently.
I spent years believing some version of these messages.
The result?
More frustration.
More restriction.
More guilt.
Now at 50, my focus is completely different.
✔ Building muscle
✔ Prioritizing protein
✔ Walking daily
✔ Managing stress
✔ Supporting my body’s natural antioxidant systems
✔ Focusing on cellular health instead of chasing a smaller number on the scale
The goal isn’t to look 25.
The goal is to feel strong, capable, energetic, and healthy for as long as possible.
What advice about aging gives YOU the ick?
