Thank you, Mr. Snow and Dr Lunga, for sharing your journey so openly. 💙 Raising awareness helps reduce stigma, encourages earlier conversations, and reminds those living with dementia that they are not alone. Wishing you both strength as you continue to make a difference for so many families. 👏
Veteran news anchor Jon Snow has shared that he’s living with Alzheimer’s disease, the most common form of dementia.
Jon was diagnosed in 2023, two years after stepping down from his most famous role presenting Channel 4 News.
He and his wife, neurologist Dr Precious Lunga, are now speaking publicly for the first time to help raise vital awareness of a condition affecting around 1 million people across the UK.
Thank you to Jon and Precious for supporting Alzheimer’s Society, and for their courage and openness to bring much-needed attention to dementia 💙
