Seventh Avenue in Belmont will be 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘅𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟲 𝘁𝗼 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟯𝟭 (𝘄𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴) as the next phase of the Belmont Road and Seventh Avenue Traffic Signals Project gets underway. When the project is complete, it will include new traffic signals, turning lanes, and crosswalks to enhance vehicle and pedestrian flow at the intersection.

🔧 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴
Seventh Ave. will be widened from two lanes to three, including a new dedicated northbound turning lane to improve traffic flow and support the new traffic signal installation at the intersection.

🚗 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘀
Seventh Ave. will remain open eastbound but will be closed westbound from approximately July 6 to July 31. A detour will be in place and can be found at: www.engageelgin.ca/construction
