We are marking the day with special programming this afternoon at My Sisters’ Place.

It was a perfect day for a barbecue! Huge thanks to our friends from London Hydro for joining us today and serving a delicious lunch. We always look forward to summer barbecues and today did not disappoint!

We served more than 120 women today. Burgers, hot dogs, delicious salads, desserts, pop and chips! (Huge thanks to yesterday’s collective kitchen for the delicious bean salad!) A big shout out to Diana for all the extra work involved in pulling all of this together and also thanks to Pam Tobin from CMHA TV for serving today too!

We have so much to be grateful for—especially this wonderful community support from London Hydro. Thank you!

Have you ever had a friend show up with dinner and you were able to take the night off from cooking?

Our friends Annie and Fani delivered a delicious meal from Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church today. They were delivering 500 meals across our community today!

This is such a generous gift and we are incredibly grateful. ❤️

Good morning and Happy Monday friends!

Our kitchen is asking for some help with replenishing the snack bins. (Photos for inspiration). Grab and go snacks are helpful for our overnight resting spaces and for women between meals, heading out to an appointment where there may be lengthy waits involved and for women needing a bit of sugar if their sugar is low.

We are also in need of (new) underwear, particularly in sizes XS, S, M, as well as socks.

Donations are welcome at 566 Dundas Street (side door) on weekdays from 10-12, 2-4 and 5:30-7:00. Weekends from 11-1.

Please note: we will be closed Thursday afternoon for staff training and unable to receive donations at that time.

We were so fortunate today to welcome friends from 3M Canada for the United Way Day of Caring.

These wonderful volunteers did a makeover on our outdoor space. They took out volunteer trees (not the good kind!) and pulled weeds filling several yard waste bags, leaving our outdoor space looking fresh and welcoming.

Thank you so much for spending time with us and for making our yard look so much better!
