We bought Booker the start of October 2025 as a prospect to work on. He is a big strong solid gelding who pulls hard and has the endurance to keep going. He has a nice jiggy and is getting his voice commands down, he will walk, trot and lope. I have kept the running W's on him to set him up for success and prevent any wrecks. I have only drove him as a single, but I think he would do well hooked as a team. I have pulled kids on toboggins and hauled firewood with him. He's hobble broke, good to catch in a small pen, good with his feet, he can act flighty and spooky but comes around pretty quick. Good to load. He's ready for a job driving.

We laid our dear friend Eddie to rest last night. He has touched a lot of people's hearts and his memories, lessons and spirit will live on. These moments are not easy but are a natural cycle. As we ride these waves of emotions letting go. I wanted to express our gratitude for all the people who helped him and us care for him as he tried to recover from his surgery. We all did our best and that is all we can do.

Being the year of the horse I wanted to pass on one of our biggest lessons Eddie always worked on with us. It was to be fair to yourself while you be fair to others.

You are so loved Eddie ❤️ Rest in peace friend

Eddie is recovering from surgery yesterday. He got the zoomies at home and took a wrong step, which led to this. We are grateful for the team and for doing a great job and looking after our friend ❤️ It will be a long recovery and a lot of bonding time but we have faith.
