Do you remember your last eye exam?

If not, it's likely time to get your eyes checked again. Even if your vision seems fine, there may be underlying problems you don't notice that an eye doctor can detect! You're not sure how often to get your eyes checked?

The Canadian Association of Optometrists recommends the following frequency for comprehensive eye exams by age group:

✅ Infants & Toddlers (6–9 months): First exam should take place between 6 and 9 months of age.

✅ Preschoolers (2–5 years): At least one exam between the ages of 2 and 5.

✅ School-Age Children (6–19 years): Every 12 months (annually).

✅ Adults (20–64 years): At least every 2 years (adults with diabetes should have an exam at least once a year).

✅ Seniors (65+ years): At least once a year.
