The month of April is also Stress Awareness Month!

What are you doing to manage your stress?

At 105 Gibson Centre, we host a Wellness Clinic on Fridays from 10am-1pm for individuals Ages 55+. Come and complete a muscle, mental stress and cognitive test today for early detection of various health symptoms!

We also host a Medical Consultation Clinic on Tuesday afternoons at our centre, which offers collaborative care with your other health supports for your long term care, as well as medical referrals.

April is National Oral Health Month!

The Canadian Dental Association reminds us to follow these five steps to good oral health:

1) Visit your dentist regularly;
2) Eat a well-balanced diet;
3) Check your mouth regularly for signs of gum disease and oral cancer;
4) Limit alcohol, and avoid smoking, smokeless to***co and va**ng; and
5) Brush your teeth twice a day using fluoride toothpaste, and floss once a day.
