Psychology Works Psychology Works is committed to your mental and emotional health. We offer the help you may need to

Psychology Works is a group of interdisciplinary therapists who practice collaboratively to provide confidential and competent psychological support during complex and adverse life events that require private and professional psychological assistance. We offer assessment, treatment and consulting services for children, youth, adults and their families. As lead clinician, Dr. Dawn integrates the ancient experiential knowledge of the Eastern physical, philosophical, and spiritual traditions with the experimental knowledge of scientific, Western traditions. The outcome is a unique offering of empirically supported interventions that combine body and mind within the context of family, work, and personal identity. In other words, we are a holistic clinic providing evidence based intervention to enhance the day to day lives of our clients.

🍁 Happy Canada Day! 🍁

Today, we celebrate the people, cultures, and communities that make Canada home.

At Psychology Works Canada, we're reminded that a strong country is built on more than beautiful landscapes and shared traditionsβ€”it’s built on the well-being of its people. Every act of kindness, every conversation about mental health, and every step toward healing helps create healthier families, workplaces, and communities.

Whether you're spending today with loved ones, enjoying the outdoors, volunteering, or simply taking a well-deserved moment to rest, we hope you find time to care for yourself as well.

Mental health is just as important as physical health, and everyone deserves support, compassion, and the opportunity to thrive.

From all of us at Psychology Works Canada, we wish you a safe, joyful, and meaningful Canada Day.

❀️ Happy Canada Day! πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦

Today, as we celebrate , we stand hand in hand, united across borders and cultures, with our sisters, mothers, daughters, grandmothers, aunties, and other beloved women.

In every corner of the globe, women are living lives of resilience, strength, and empowerment. From the bustling streets of New York City to the tranquil villages of rural India, from the vibrant markets of Africa to the serene landscapes of Scandinavia, we are linked by our shared experiences, dreams, and aspirations.

Amidst our celebrations, we must also acknowledge the ongoing suffering of women, especially in these times of conflict. Too many of our sisters endure violence, oppression, and hardship. Today, let's hold them close in our hearts and pledge to amplify their voices and fight for their rights.

On this day, let us honor the countless women around the world who have paved the way for progress, breaking barriers and shattering stereotypes. We recognize the courage of those brave women who speak out against injustice and inequality, and the determination of those who strive to create a world where every woman and girl can thrive.

Together, women are more than half the planet’s population, making women a powerful force for change. Let us continue to uplift and support one another, celebrating each other's achievements and lifting each other up in times of need. Let us build bridges of understanding and empathy, embracing the rich tapestry of diversity that makes our global sisterhood so vibrant and resilient.

As we march forward towards a future of equality and justice, let’s never forget the strength in our unity. Happy International Women's Day to women everywhere, may our solidarity light the path towards a brighter tomorrow for all.

Love knows no boundaries, and on this Valentine's Day, let's celebrate the beautiful tapestry of love that surrounds us. Whether it's the warmth of a friend's embrace, the reassuring smile of a family member, or the unwavering support of a cherished confidant, love comes in countless forms.

Love is the thread that weaves together the fabric of our lives, connecting us in moments of joy, solace, and understanding. It's the kindness we show, the empathy we feel, and the selflessness we practice.

So, on this day dedicated to love, let's remember that love extends far beyond romantic relationships. It's the glue that holds our friendships, families, and communities together. Let's celebrate the love that makes us better, stronger, and more compassionate individuals.

Happy Valentine's Day to all the incredible souls who fill our lives with love, in every way possible. May we continue to nurture and cherish these bonds, knowing that love, in all its forms, is the most precious gift we can give and receive. ❀️
