Last weekend, I had the privilege of both presenting at and attending Camp Widow for the first time.
Camp Widow is an organization that brings widows and widowers together, creating opportunities for connection, education, support, and new friendships.
I was honored to present on Parenting Through Grief and share the Connected Parenting Model as a way to help parents support their children in their grief with empathy, compassion, and connection.
I left the weekend deeply moved by the courage, resilience, and openness of everyone I met. Thank you to the organizers, volunteers, and participants for creating such a meaningful and supportive community.
