It was a beautiful morning on Saturday walking in support of the Meaford Hospital Foundation! And what an amazing turnout with over 600 participants! Thank you to the brilliant minds behind this event, and to everyone who pledged and walked/ran in support. We’re already looking forward to next year! We’re so proud to be apart of such a strong community 💚🩵

🚨PRE-RACE DAY INFO🚨

NEW THIS YEAR
• We’ll have a start mat for official chip timing to the second!

START TIMES
• Kids Fun Run — 8:30 AM
• 5K Run/Walk — 9:00 AM sharp
• 1.5K Stroll — 9:00 AM sharp

BIB PICKUP
• Friday, July 10 from 3–7 PM at the Harbour Pavilion parking lot
• Race Day pickup opens at 7:30 AM at the Harbour Pavilion

Please line up based on your pace so everyone can get off to a safe and smooth start:
• Faster runners at the front
• Mid-pace runners in the middle
• Walkers, strollers & pets at the back

A few reminders for the course:
• Roads are not closed to traffic, so please stay aware at all times
• Follow directions from traffic marshals at intersections
• Stay as far left as possible, facing oncoming traffic
• On Sykes Street, participants must stay in the marked parking lane on the east side of the road

PARKING
Parking at the harbour is limited, so if you’re able to walk to the event, please do! If driving, try to arrive and park before 8:40 AM.

HYDRATION & COMFORT
• Bring a refillable water bottle — the Quench Buggy will be onsite for refills
• Water stations will be available on Edwin St. and Eliza St.
• Washrooms are located in the lower harbour parking lot

POST-RACE
Awards will begin around 10:00 AM in the Pavilion. Results will be available by QR code onsite or online at results.raceroster.com.

Brenda is back from a two-day conference at the Hockey Hall of Fame, full of inspiration, fresh ideas, and renewed enthusiasm.

She heard from expert speakers Phil Jones, Oli Luke, Ron Tite, and Peter Katz (who is also a talented Juno nominated singer/songwriter), and had the opportunity to connect, collaborate, and learn alongside fellow private hearing clinic owners.

There was plenty of fun mixed in too, including dinner at Cluny Bistro and games at the Hockey Hall of Fame.

Spending time with mentors and peers in the hearing care community is always invaluable. We’re constantly learning, growing, and finding new ways to better serve our patients. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to put on this amazing event! We can’t wait for next year 🩵💚

Mia here, I thought I’d share some photos from my beautiful trip I got to take last week!

I spent some time in Naples, Ischia (a beautiful tiny island off the coast of Naples), Dordrecht, and Amsterdam. The weather was beautiful! I hiked a mountain on the island, ate fresh stroopwafels in Amsterdam, and enjoyed the calm beauty of Dordrecht.

I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to embark on this trip without the amazing support of our patients, so I thank you! 💚🩵
