Mental health disorders are often misunderstood—and misconceptions can make it harder for people to feel seen, supported, or comfortable seeking help. 🌿

Behind every diagnosis is a person with their own experiences, strengths, challenges, and story. By learning the difference between myths and facts, we can replace assumptions with greater understanding and compassion.

Less stigma. More understanding. Better conversations. 🤍

Follow along as we unpack common myths about mental health disorders and look at what the facts actually tell us.

🍁 This Labour Day, here’s a reminder: you are more than your productivity.

Behind every role, responsibility, deadline, and achievement is a person who also needs time to pause, reconnect, and recharge.

As Canada marks Labour Day, may it be an opportunity to appreciate not only what we accomplish, but also the importance of creating healthier relationships with work—ones that leave room for rest, boundaries, connection, and well-being.

Here’s to meaningful work and a life that has space beyond it. 🇨🇦

Rest doesn’t have to be earned. 🌿

So often, we wait until we’re completely exhausted before giving ourselves permission to slow down. But rest is not a reward for finishing everything—it is part of how we care for ourselves along the way.

Making space to pause can help us reconnect with what we need, protect our energy, and continue with greater intention.

You don’t have to reach your limit to deserve rest.

A new month doesn’t require a whole new you. 🌿

September can be an invitation to reset—not by changing everything at once, but by noticing what needs a little more care, space, or attention.

You can start small. Rest where you need to. Revisit what matters. Let go of the pressure to have everything figured out.

Growth doesn’t have to happen all at once.
Sometimes, one gentle change is enough for today.

Here’s to a September with less pressure, more intention, and more compassion for yourself. 🤍

Healing doesn't always look like moving forward.

Sometimes it looks like resting.
Sometimes it looks like asking for help.
Sometimes it simply looks like making it through today.

Whatever stage you're in, it is worthy of compassion.

Growth is rarely linear, and comparing your journey to someone else's only makes it harder to recognize how far you've already come.

Take a moment today to check in with yourself—not to judge where you are, but to gently notice it.

🌱 Which stage best describes where you are today?

💙 Every answer is welcome.

Stress is a normal part of life.

But when worry becomes constant, difficult to control, and begins affecting your relationships, work, sleep, or daily routines, it may be more than everyday stress.

Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) is a real and treatable mental health condition—not a sign of weakness or something you simply need to "push through."

Recognizing the difference is the first step toward getting the support you deserve.

If this post feels familiar, know that help is available, and healing is possible.

You are not alone.
