I'll be taking my first (and only) full week out of the office this year in two weeks! If you wanted to see me between July 31 - August 9, you won't be able to! But, I do have availability before and after 🤌🏻

What a strange and beautiful place to be, experiencing anticipatory FOMO from my job. Thank you to all my dedicated clients for making these first 7 months in private practice so engaging and rewarding. I am beyond grateful to be doing this work with you.

I love —and the development arc of the post was wild. As I flipped through, I kept wondering why the opening statement felt so opposite to the message… when we ended up in the same place.

Humans like somewhere to place blame. Someone to point fingers at. A reason not to look inward. Casting exercise as a villain and then gently guiding the audience to actualization is a choice akin to the therapeutic journey. Honestly, slay.

But do we need to complicate something so simple?

We’re flooded with information on every topic imaginable—to the point where knowledge, choices, decisions, and opinions become just another thing to navigate.
It feels like... the absolute last thing we need.

I once asked a personal training client if she had tried the delicious cupcakes at the bakery down the street. She looked at me as if I was testing her. As if we weren’t even allowed to speak of them. As if enjoyment equals failure. As if prioritizing movement means sacrificing human experiences. Is one a hedonist for wanting to enjoy all facets of life?

Is there someone out there who is likely thriving by doing 7 spin classes a week? Of course. Is there someone out there who is likely thriving by walking for 20 minutes twice a week? Yes. Our personal balance exists somewhere along that spectrum—and it’s up to us to find our own tipping point.

We don’t get to choose the values of our culture—but we do get to choose which ones align (or don't) with our own.

It me. I am local woman.

Does your ADHD show up in the form of digital hoarding? Tabs. Screenshots. It's all a manifestation of working memory challenges and executive dysfunction. What feels like control and organization can actually negatively impact efficiency and mood. Visual chaos can lead to shame and overwhelm that keeps you in a deeper task initiation hole. Taking steps to break the loop that keeps you stuck in a growing to do list with minimal movement toward the finish line requires awareness, understanding, and person-specific solutions alongside neuro-afforming care.

Might you need a digital hoarding detox? Awareness is the first step - change comes from building systems that work for you, not against you.

I've been in this space for a week now and love it. I'm so pleased with the warm and inviting feel it cultivates and can't wait to continue to tweak/add/adjust as I go! She isn't in her final form, but she's off to a great start ✨ and RiRi is in full protection of her.

I'm officially getting my own space!

Thank you Psynergy Centre, , , and Michelle for helping me ease into this process by offering unused office space and thank you to and .mh for rescuing me when I was trapped! Extra special thank you to my clients for being flexible as I flip flop between locations. This means more than you know and has drastically helped me take this big step with confidence and excitement. 🙏🏻

I want my schedule to work for both myself and for my clients. So if you have an ideal time for sessions that you don't see, don't fret. I am more than happy to remain as flexible as I can as I continue to grow. I can start earlier, I can work later, and I can cut time from the ends that aren't being used. Just chat with me directly about your needs and I'll accommodate when I can! Virtual sessions can now be booked on any day.

The opportunity to make this space my own is really exciting! I have a vibe, a vision and most of my key pieces are ready to move in. To access my space, you'll use the main entrance of the ground floor then head through the door on the left hand side into the reception area. Once inside, turn left and my door will be the second from the left, next to 🙌🏻

Ok, big day over here.

1) Once more, - thank you for the amazing photos!

2) I am officially a Certified Canadian Counsellor with the .accp as of TODAY (whoa!)

3) This means I will be able to bill insurance (yay!)

4) This also means my reduced rate is leaving (boo!)

5) I changed my business name! Introducing .withcail - which solidifies (and clarifies) the pivot of my services!

With all this considered, if you are an existing client I will be providing ample time and opportunity to discuss your ongoing rates. If you are a new or prospective client needing reduced rates, facilitating accessible care will always remain part of my model. Please reach out to discuss the availability of compassionate care.
