Hip mobility restrictions are not always “just aging.”

Often, they’re the result of years of compensation patterns, stiffness, poor movement mechanics, instability, previous injuries, prolonged sitting, or the body adapting around restriction.

And when the hips stop moving well… the low back and knees often pay the price.

Many people are told:
▫️ “It’s just wear and tear.”
▫️ “It’s arthritis.”
▫️ “You’re getting older.”

But loss of mobility is not something you should ignore.

At Align’d, our therapist team works to help improve mobility, movement quality, muscular balance, and overall function before things progress further.

And if a hip replacement has already “gotten ahead of you,” we can still help support:
▫️ Recovery
▫️ Mobility
▫️ Strength & stability
▫️ Gait & movement patterns
▫️ Returning to daily activities with more confidence

Because better movement matters at every stage 🤍

Sprain or strain? They may sound similar — but they affect different tissues and often require different approaches to recovery.

▫️ A sprain involves a ligament (the tissue connecting bone to bone) and is often caused by twisting or rolling an ankle or joint.

▫️ A strain involves a muscle or tendon (the tissue connecting muscle to bone) and is commonly related to overstretching, overuse, or sudden loading.

Both can lead to:
✔️ Pain
✔️ Swelling
✔️ Reduced mobility
✔️ Weakness or instability

The problem? Many people try to “walk it off,” stretch aggressively too soon, or ignore it until compensation patterns start showing up elsewhere in the body.

At Align’d, our team takes a full-body approach to recovery — because proper assessment matters.

Depending on the injury, your treatment plan may include:
▫️ Manual Therapy
▫️ Movement & Mobility Work
▫️ Shockwave Therapy
▫️ NeuroStim MPS
▫️ Education & Home Exercises
▫️ Gradual Return-to-Activity Support

Our goal is not just symptom relief — but helping the body heal well, move well, and reduce the risk of recurring injury.

Pregnancy, birth, and post-partum recovery place incredible demands on the body 🤍

Dr. Fal understands this not only as a chiropractor trained in the Webster Technique — but as a new mom herself.

The Webster Technique is a specialized chiropractic approach focused on supporting balance within the pelvis, reducing tension, and helping the body adapt more comfortably throughout pregnancy and post-partum recovery.

Many women seek care for:
▫️ Pelvic discomfort
▫️ Low back pain
▫️ Hip tension
▫️ Postural changes
▫️ Round ligament tension
▫️ General aches & mobility restrictions during pregnancy

At Align’d, we believe moms deserve support too — before, during, and after birth.

Dr. Fal takes a gentle, personalized, whole-body approach to care with the goal of helping women feel more supported, comfortable, and connected throughout every stage of motherhood.

Because every pregnancy journey is different — and you shouldn’t have to navigate it alone ✨

A "bad back", we call it different things…
▫️ Arthritis
▫️ DJD (Degenerative Joint Disease)
▫️ Muscle tension
▫️ Sciatica
▫️ Disc issues
▫️ “Wear and tear”
▫️ Tight hips
▫️ A bad back
▫️ Spondylisthesis
…but how did it get that way?

Pain and degeneration don’t usually happen overnight. Often, the body has been adapting, compensating, protecting, and redistributing stress for years before symptoms fully appear.

At Align’d, our team of therapists takes a full-body approach to understanding the WHY behind back pain — looking at movement patterns, posture, mobility, stability, stress, old injuries, and overall function.

You don’t have to just live with it.

A little Sunday reminder from our team

Rest is not lazy. Rest is part of recovery.

Your body heals, rebuilds, regulates, and recharges in the pauses — which is why our clinic is closed on Sundays too. Taking time to slow down, reset your nervous system, and recover is just as important as movement and treatment.

Wishing everyone a restful Sunday

Chronic pain is no longer viewed as just a symptom. The World Health Organization now recognizes chronic pain as a disease in itself — impacting physical health, mental wellbeing, movement, sleep, stress levels, and overall quality of life.

At Align’d, we understand that pain is complex.

Chronic pain is generally defined as pain that lasts longer than 3 months — often persisting beyond the body’s normal healing timeline. Even after tissues have healed, pain can continue due to changes involving the nervous system, movement patterns, stress, sleep, and overall function.

That’s why our therapist team takes a collaborative, full-body approach to care — looking beyond where the pain appears to better understand WHY it may be happening.

Our team approach may include:
▫️ Chiropractic Care
▫️ Physiotherapy
▫️ Osteopathy
▫️ Massage Therapy
▫️ Acupuncture
▫️ Movement & Functional Assessment

Because better movement, better alignment, and better support can help create better long-term outcomes.

You don’t have to navigate chronic pain alone 🤍

TMJ dysfunction is not just a dental problem.

Jaw pain is often connected to much more than the teeth alone.

Headaches, neck tension, facial tightness, ear symptoms, posture, breathing mechanics, stress patterns, and muscular compensation throughout the body can all play a role in TMJ dysfunction.

At Align’d, we take a collaborative, full-body approach to understanding the WHY behind these symptoms — not just where they show up.

Common symptoms may include:
▫️ Jaw pain or tenderness
▫️ Clicking or popping
▫️ Headaches
▫️ Neck tension
▫️ Ear pain or ringing
▫️ Difficulty chewing

Our therapist team may incorporate:
▫️ Manual Therapy
▫️ Shockwave Therapy
▫️ NeuroStim MPS Therapy
▫️ Movement & Functional Assessment
▫️ Education & Home Exercises

Because improving alignment, mobility, muscular balance, and nervous system regulation can help reduce stress on the jaw and surrounding structures.

You don’t have to just “live with it.”
