Countryside Midwifery Services Countryside Midwives provide midwifery care to families in the Perth/Wellington/Huron regions, and s We are a large rural practice in South Western Ontario.

Midwives provide full prenatal care, labour and birth support, and postpartum care through 6 weeks. We are the home to 13 midwives, with 3 office locations to choose from (Milverton, Palmerston, Mount Forest)

We work out of 5 hospitals including; Louise Marshall (Mount Forest), Palmerston District, Listowel Memorial, Groves Memorial (Fergus), and Stratford General. Our clients also have the choic

e of birthplace including Homebirth, and Waterbirth. In Ontario, midwifery care is covered by the provincial government. This means that midwifery care itself has no charge for any client, whether or not they carry provincial health care coverage (OHIP), opt not to have OHIP, or are new to the country/province.
