This season, learn about the wives of Henry VIII, Winnipeg’s Main Street, the history of the Winnipeg Police, the Golden Age of Radio, astrology, the Sears catalogue, wildlife, rock ’n’ roll, scams & fraud prevention, online banking, travel, Canadian history and so much more!

There are many more presentations, activities and opportunities to connect throughout the Fall 2026 season.

Every great community project starts with a vision, and thanks to the support of our residents, donors, volunteers, and partner municipalities, Valley Ridge Villas continues to move forward.

Here's where we are today:

Completed:
✔ Land secured in Minnedosa, on 9th Avenue in the new development.
✔ Building design complete
✔ Builder engaged
✔ Business case and project costing finalized

Current Focus:
• Community fundraising
• Project financing
• Resident commitments
• Donor engagement

What's Next:
🏗 Construction planned for Fall 2027
🏡 Resident move-in anticipated Summer 2029

Thanks to the support of our communities, we've already raised more than $700,000, received 35+ resident commitments, and continue to build momentum with our six municipal partners.

Together, we're creating a place where older adults can stay close to the people and communities they love.
