We are happy to welcome Jessica Otoo-Appiah to our team at our Etobicoke location 🎉

Jessica is dedicated to learning about each of her patients and collaborating with them to create treatment plans that suit their needs and lifestyle. Her analytical and empathetic approach to care, aids her patients in returning to the activities they enjoy.

Jessica completed her Honors Bachelor in Biology & Psychology at McMaster University where she had a strong interest in neuroscience, research and anatomy. During her undergraduate studies, she volunteered in various setting from schools to community rehab programs where she was inspired to pursue physiotherapy after working with individuals with spinal cord injuries.

Jessica completed her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto. She has a passion for working with neurological and orthopedic populations across various age groups.

Her postgraduate education includes:
▶️ Acupuncture and dry needling
▶️ Kinesiotaping

In her free time, Jessica enjoys cycling, hiking and exploring new cuisines!

Practicing walking with the TheraSuit on Day 4 of this superhero’s intensive with and .temple00

What is a TheraSuit? 🧐

▶️ It is a soft, breathable orthotic suit with bungee-like cords attached which helps to correct postural alignment!

It is used during our TheraSuit Intensives in conjunction with our Universal Exercise Unit to help children develop new motor patterns and correct maladaptive patterns of movement ✅
