Before you book anything here, you can spend ten minutes with the practitioner first, at no cost, and decide afterwards.
That includes people already coming to Novah. If you've been seeing our massage therapist for two months and you're curious about acupuncture, or chiropractic, or lymphatic care, you can sit down with that practitioner for ten minutes and ask whatever you like. You don't have to commit to an assessment to find out whether someone is the right fit for you.
Here is what to expect so nothing is a surprise.
What it is — a conversation. Ask about the approach, their background, what a session actually involves, whether it's likely to suit what you're dealing with.
What it isn't — there is no examination and no treatment. Nobody will assess you or work on you during those ten minutes.
What it costs — nothing.
What happens afterwards — only what you choose. There is no obligation to book anything. If you do go ahead, the next step is always an initial assessment for that service. That isn't an upsell: we need a proper work-up to be sure there's nothing that would make treatment unsafe for you. The fee for each initial assessment is listed in the booking system.
Two details worth knowing. Most of these can be done by video or in person — for acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine it's in person only. And for lymphatic and lymphedema care it's fifteen minutes rather than ten, because ten isn't long enough to answer the questions people actually arrive with.
Every practitioner's ten minutes is bookable online, the same way as any other appointment.
