BREAKING NEWS: CRIME SCENE AT BEYOND 20/20! 🚔🚨

We have some disturbing (and oddly colourful) evidence to share...

While Dr. Megan and Dr. Ryan were away last week, a group of highly suspicious individuals snuck into their office (apparently during regular business hours) and committed an act of vandalism.

The weapon of choice? PAPER CHAINS. 🔗

Hundreds of colourful paper links, strategically hung from every corner and no ceiling tile was spared.

But what does it all mean?! 🤔

⛓️ Are these the chains that bind us to our work?

❤️ Or are they a symbol of the links that keep us connected, laughing, and enjoying the chaos of life together?

🧐 Or did someone just have WAY too much time on their hands?

The investigation is ongoing. Suspects are refusing to cooperate. And while we can't officially name names... it was most definitely Justin.

In all seriousness, coming back to an office covered in paper chains was a pretty hilarious reminder that we have a workplace where laughter, friendship, and a little harmless mischief are just part of the daily routine.

We may never solve this crime, but one thing is certain...

We wouldn't trade this bunch of criminals for the world. ❤️

Look at who we caught in our web!! Our Beyond 20/20 family is growing!

We’re excited to officially welcome two new faces to the clinic!

👓 First up is Claire, our Optometry Assistant, or as we like to call her: Our Optometrist in the Making!

Claire will be spending the next year with us learning, gaining experience, and honing her patient-care skills as she prepares to start Optometry School next year! She loves to learn, is always eager to jump in and help, and we’ve also discovered that she will happily accept candy and coffee as bribes.

🧶 Next, meet Elizabeth, our newest Optician!

After recently moving back from Ottawa, Elizabeth has settled back into Moncton and fit right into the Beyond 20/20 crew. Her warm and caring energy makes everyone feel right at home, and we’re so happy to have her bringing that energy to our patients every day.

Outside the clinic, Elizabeth is a master of all things crafty and loves to crochet. But we’ve recently discovered another hidden talent…

She’s taking over the Moncton dodgeball scene.

Please help us give Claire and Elizabeth a big Beyond 20/20 welcome! 💙

🌞 We’re Taking a Little Summer Break! 🌞
Beyond 20/20 Optometry will be closed this week as our amazing team takes a well-deserved break to relax, recharge, and enjoy some summer sunshine with family and friends!

Our team works incredibly hard all year long to provide the best care and experience for our patients, and we’re so happy to give them some time to slow down and enjoy everything summer has to offer.
We’ll be back, refreshed and ready to SEE you, when the clinic reopens Tuesday, August 4th! 👓

Today is a bittersweet day as our Beyond 20/20 Optometry family says, "See you soon!" to Madison. 🎓

It is hard to put into words just how proud we are of everything Madison has accomplished over the past 18 months. Her hard work, determination, and dedication have paid off, and next month she begins the exciting journey of Optometry school!

From day one, Madison has been eager to learn, always asking thoughtful questions, taking on new challenges, and striving to become the best future optometrist she can be. Having the opportunity to learn and grow alongside Dr. Burns and Dr. Ryan has helped build a strong foundation, and we know she is more than ready for this next chapter.

Although we're going to miss seeing her at the clinic every day, we couldn't be more excited to watch her chase this dream. The future of optometry is incredibly bright with people like Madison.

Congratulations, Madison! We know you're going to do amazing things, and we can't wait to welcome you back as Dr. McLaren one day. 👓

This week, we're introducing the two people who help lead the Beyond 20/20 crew every day: our doctors!

On one side, there's Dr. Burns: The calm, steady captain who keeps everyone grounded, focused, and always puts patients at ease.
On the other, there's Dr. Ryan: Bringing the energy, the enthusiasm, and just enough controlled chaos to keep the clinic laughing and spirits high.

Their personalities may be different, but together they make an incredible team with one shared goal: helping our patients see, feel, and perform at their very best.

As you might notice... some things never change! 😉

We're kicking things off with our Front-End Team: the amazing group that keeps this place running day in and day out. They're the first smiling faces you see, the masters of multitasking, the schedule jugglers, phone-answering pros, and quite honestly... the glue that keeps our team sane and everything running smoothly! ❤️
Each throwback comes with a fun caption highlighting what that team member does today and the incredible role they play in helping our patients and our clinic.

Beyond 20/20 Optometry is proud to recognize one of our athletes, Dylan MacKinnon! Along with our vision therapy coordinator Shay and Dylan’s vision therapist Matt (whom was not harmed dropping the gloves with Macker).

We had the pleasure of working with Dylan to help his eyes and brain heal, recover, and perform at their best during his final season in the QMJHL. It has been incredible to watch his dedication both on and off the ice.
This summer, Dylan is wrapping up our Elite Vision Training Program before heading off to the Boston Bruins Development Camp later this summer, an exciting next step in his hockey journey!
We are incredibly proud to work with amazing athletes like Dylan, helping them unlock their highest levels of visual performance. At the highest levels of sport, the eyes lead the body. Every elite athlete needs an elite visual system, and we're honoured to be help athletes pursue their goals and reach their full potential.
Congratulations, Dylan, and best of luck at Bruins Development Camp! We're excited to see what comes next.
