For us, this case is about more than criminal charges. We believe it raises important questions about Mi’kmaq treaty rights, sovereignty, and how those rights are recognized and respected under Canadian law.

We invite anyone who wishes to observe the court process or stand in peaceful solidarity to attend. Your presence shows support for respectful dialogue, fairness, and the importance of having these issues heard in court.

No matter where you stand, we encourage everyone to remain respectful, peaceful, and professional throughout the proceedings.

🚨 GROUP UPDATE

We’re aware that our Facebook group has recently been targeted by an influx of bot and spam posts… 😵‍💫

Trust us, we see them too…

…and they’re just as annoying to us as they are to everyone else. 😭😅

Unfortunately, the administrator account that was originally tied to the group was deactivated by Facebook/Meta. As a result, there is currently no active administrator with the permissions needed to remove certain posts, ban accounts, or properly moderate the group…

While we continue exploring every possible avenue to regain administrative access, we ask for your patience and understanding in the meantime.

Over the years, our community has faced its fair share of challenges, scrutiny, harassment, and roadblocks whether through social media platforms or various outside sources…

…This is simply another hurdle we’re working through.

The good news?

We’re still here.

The community is still growing.

And a few rogue bots aren’t enough to get rid of us… 🔥✊
