She saw specialists, got tests, and here’s what they all missed.

Okay so a friend of mine was telling me about everything she’s been through with her stomach pain, gas, bloating, burping, nausea, heart pain…

She saw specialists. She got tests. Nobody could find anything.

So she went the holistic route — and they told her to add electrolytes. More protein. Collagen. This supplement, that supplement — and yes, some of it was accurate. But nobody ever addressed the cause.

Still not feeling well. Back to the doctor. And now they’re saying maybe it’s her nerves. Maybe her nervous system is sending the wrong signals.

And the whole time she’s telling me this story, I’m sitting there thinking…

but did anyone ever just tell her the basics?

I’m feeling a little under the weather today

And the first thing I reached for is what my mom did for me my whole childhood: a giant platter of raw veggies. Cucumber, celery, peppers, whatever’s in the fridge.
No sugar. Alkaline. Living. It just feels like it kills everything off.

Try it next time something’s coming on. 🌿

Most of my clients are “trying to eat well.”

And they’re still tired. Still bloated. Still not feeling it.

Here’s the truth I tell them in every consult: you don’t eat bad. You just don’t eat good enough.

Your body runs on minerals — and minerals come from VOLUME of living plants. Greens, sprouts, herbs, fruit, daily. Not occasionally. Not as a side. As the foundation.

a few of you asked for this recipe after yesterday’s post, so here it is. 🥢

Crunchy thai salad with peanut dressing. The kind of meal that proves “eating clean” doesn’t have to be sad or boring.

🥗 SALAD
3–4 cups shredded red cabbage
2 leaves curly kale, chopped
1 carrot, shredded
2 green onions, chopped
1 cup cilantro
2 mini peppers (1 red, 1 orange)
½ cucumber, peeled + thinly sliced
crushed peanuts on top

🥜 PEANUT DRESSING (food processor)
1 inch ginger
1 clove garlic
½ cup natural peanut butter
juice of ½ orange
juice of 1 lime
2 tbsp tamari
3 tbsp pure maple syrup
a sq**rt of sriracha
½ tsp salt

Blend the dressing. Toss everything. Top with peanuts.

Here’s what a real cleanse looks like.

Not juice-only.

Not starving.

Fresh fruits and vegetables. Big salads. Soups and cooked veggies at dinner. Smoothies if you love them, skip them if you don’t. Herbal tea in the afternoon.

I call April the ugly season 😝 (Half joking. Half not.)
