The day I started treating motherhood as my first job, everything shifted. 💛

Because it is a job. The most demanding one I’ve ever had. And once I gave it that respect, I stopped feeling guilty for also showing up fully in my career.

I pushed myself into uncomfortable spaces at work. The things that scared me, the things I wasn’t sure I was ready for. And that discomfort? It’s what got me here.

Motherhood taught me to keep going. Work taught me to keep growing. I refused to choose between the two. 🌱

❌ Myth 1: Multilingualism will confuse your child.
✅ It won’t. It never did. It never will. Here’s the thing: children are literally born ready to take on multiple languages. Their brains are wired for it from day one. The confusion was never theirs. It was ours.

❌ Myth 2: You must transmit one language at a time.
✅ Your child’s brain can handle more than one language at once. That’s not a risk. That’s a superpower.

❌ Myth 3: You must speak the school language at home to help your child succeed.
✅ The research says otherwise. Your heritage language at home is not an obstacle to school success. It is a foundation for it.

Three myths. One truth: raising your child in your language is one of the best things you can do for them. 🌱
