Ring ring baby!
So, we have signed on to work together...when do you call your doula?
If we start working together early in your pregnancy, I find it helpful to get a "touch base" call or text after your regular appointments with your health care provider so that we can address any questions or issues that may have come up.
As your pregnancy moves along, you will notice that your appointments start getting more frequent and so will our communication!
Towards the last days of your pregnancy, we are in touch quite a bit as you may be experiencing signs of early labor that tend to come and go over a certain period of time. Staying in touch will help you feel calmer and more prepared as you navigate early labor and assess the next moves.
During your postpartum period, you may have questions about feeding, pees and poos, bellybuttons, bathing and sleep schedules. I am here for all of that too.
As I always say, your doula should feel like your BFF, who also happens to know a sh*t-ton about birth! 😏
