Update February 2025!

The data collection is complete! We have heard from well over 250 people since last June – a big success. The entire survey team thanks everyone who has participated in the survey. We are so grateful for the trust that you have placed in this project.

What are the next steps?

We have begun the analysis of the data

We will be holding some focus groups with the community to help us interpret the results of the survey

We will be designing and producing information sheets, reports and other tools to return the results to the community

We will be making recommendations and seeking support for new services and resources for the health of the community

The QS survey is reaching the end of the data collection phase. Thank you to all the people who have participated so far. The turn out has been amazing!

The Qanuikkat Siqinirmiut project is wrapping up the data collection. Our sincere thanks to everyone who has particiapted so far! If you haven't done the survey but would like to you can come to the Qavvivik office in Verdun (4468 Wellington #203) this Wednesday and Thursday, December 11 and 12. If you are Inuk, over 16 years old and have lived in the south for more than 6 months, you can do the survey. There is also an online version which will be open into January. The QS survey has reached an important milestone - 200 people have responded! Our thanks to everyone for taking the time to meet with us. We are continuing to try to reach as many people as possible and the team will be coming to Quebec City next week to meet people there.

The QS Survey is going really well! We have spoken to well over 100 Inuit living in Montreal. Thanks to everyone who has participated so far. We need to hear from more people in the West of the city. The team is going to be at Saturviit Offices in Dorval all day Tuesday and Wednesday July 16 and 17. For people living in the West Island, Dorval, Lachine who haven't done the survey yet, come on out! More info on the posters.
