nomadicnursenetwork.com After 13+ years in emergency and travel nursing, I stopped waiting for permission to build a life that felt like freedom. Now I help nurses and healthcare professionals do the same — through mentorship, business coaching, integr

ative health, and honest conversations about what it really takes to reinvent yourself. Where I share the journey of building multiple businesses, navigating career transitions, and trusting God in the spaces between where you are and where you're called to be. If you're a nurse, a healthcare professional, or simply someone who knows they were made for more — you belong here. The courage to build.

Our trials are supposed to produce endurance, not keep us down forever.

I know that I'm not the only one who's been through the most and back in this lifetime. Which makes our problems not so special.

Making our problems "special" allows us to fall into victimhood far longer than we should, when there's someone out there who needs a voice like yours in this very moment.

In other words, your blocking the blessing you are supposed to be to someone else when you're sitting in the misery of the trial for far too long.

I'm not saying to be a machine and just "suck it up", but what I am saying is to process it, grieve it and move through it, in the timing that it requires.

James 1:2-4 says, "Consider it a great joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you experience various trials, because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its full effect, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing."

Don't ever lose the artist within you in everything that you do.

I had a wonderful conversation with friends the other day over pizza and we were talking about how there's so many people who just don't care. There's a lack of passion for what we do in the workplace amongst employees and this could be for so many reasons.

And this resonates with me for a very specific reason because I became a machine in a job that requires care all because of the system that it's under. A crushing system that treats patients and professionals as numbers and no longer souls.

We have stripped the care from caregiver and became only givers who barely have our cups full. How is this okay?

There was a time that I would have said to fight back or get angry, when all you need to do is implement the boundary to start resting to regain your empathy.

We are meant to serve and care for one another in all we do in this world. You are meant to be an amazing artist in the things you are passionate about.

Comment below what makes you an artist (it doesn't have to be a career)

If you’re burned out by your career and scared your next season will be slower, this is for you.

I’m living this right now as an entrepreneur, and I want to show you what it looks like when one month is full and the next one is quiet.

That used to feel like failure. It felt like proof that I was falling behind, or that I had done something wrong. But quiet does not always mean bad. Sometimes it means the work is shifting, the season is changing, and your next move is not panic — it is stewardship.

When you steward your money well and stop attaching your peace to one big month, you create room to stay creative even in the slower ones. That’s true in business, and it’s true in life.

If you need a new way to think about your season, follow me. I’m sharing the rebuild in real time.

You're not scared. You're unprepared for the honesty this decision requires.

13 years as a nurse. Then travel nursing. Then a business I didn't build until I'd actually done the work on myself first.

I didn't rush either move because a pivot made too early doesn't just cost you time. It costs you money. It costs you confidence.

So before you leave or before you force yourself to stay, ask the real question:
Have you done the self-assessment? Or are you just running from something and calling it a decision?

If you're in that in-between season, follow for more. 🤍
