Sounds unfair, right? 😅

But here’s what’s actually happening:

Your knees are designed to handle load.

The problem usually starts when the load exceeds what your body is currently prepared for.

Too much too soon → overload

Too little activity → reduced capacity

Random intense activity → poor preparation

That’s why knee health is rarely about avoiding movement completely.

It’s usually about:

✔️ Building strength gradually
✔️ Improving load tolerance
✔️ Recovering properly
✔️ Staying consistent with movement
✔️ Matching activity to your current capacity

Meet Ana Diana Tapes 👋

Ana is a physiotherapist who brings calm, positive energy into every session and helps patients feel comfortable from day one.

Outside the clinic, Ana is deeply involved in the endurance community and has worked on medical teams for trail running events and cross-country ski marathons 🏃‍♀️🎿

When she’s not working, you’ll probably find her running, swimming, cycling, or camping outdoors.

We’re so happy to have Ana on the team!

One of the biggest mistakes people make with Achilles pain is assuming they either need to:

completely rest it

or

push through aggressive stretching and loading

But insertional Achilles tendinopathy usually responds better to appropriate loading, not excessive loading.

With this condition, the tendon can become irritated when it’s compressed against the heel bone, especially in deep stretched positions.

That’s why certain exercises are often modified:

✔️ Controlled calf raises
✔️ Reduced compression positions
✔️ Gradual strength progressions
✔️ Load the tendon can actually tolerate

Meet Iolanda Drobca 👋

Physiotherapist with a passion for helping you move better and feel more confident in your body.

Iolanda completed her Master’s in Physiotherapy at Université de Sherbrooke and focuses on orthopedic injuries, vestibular rehab and Scoliosis Management… always continuing to learn and grow her skillset. 💪

She’s currently the only certified Schroth therapist in Quebec, helping patients with scoliosis and kyphosis through specialized, evidence-based treatment designed to improve posture, movement, strength, and confidence.

Whether you’re dealing with dizziness, recovering from an injury, scoliosis, or just not moving the way you want to, she brings a personalized, attentive approach to every session.

She’s also part of the local volleyball community (on and off the court 🏐), and outside the clinic you’ll find her playing sports, skiing, or baking (her version of meditation 🍪).

Massage therapy is healthcare… not just self-care 👀

Yes, it can feel relaxing.
But it also plays a real role in how your body moves, recovers, and handles stress.

We use it to help with muscle tension, mobility restrictions, and the kind of tightness that builds up from long days, training, or repetitive work. 💆‍♂️

A lot of people wait until things feel really uncomfortable before booking.

But for many, massage is part of staying ahead of that… supporting recovery, circulation, and how your body functions day to day. 💡

Whether you sit all day, train hard, or just feel constantly tight… taking care of your body shouldn’t start when it’s already overwhelmed.

Follow us for more ways to take care of your body.

This is what your body’s really been asking for 👀

Not just a quick fix… not just “pushing through”…

Real relief.

The kind that helps your body finally let go of that built-up tension and start moving the way it’s supposed to again. 💙

Because feeling better shouldn’t be temporary.
