Nature connection is all of a sudden a trend, something attracting studies and methods for doing it best. What does this mean for the rest of us? What if you are not a plant person? No green thumb? You like nature, but not too much nature.

No need to go full tilt. Nature is made for you, as close as outside your door (or inside if you know how to care for plants).

I built Sève for the person who wants a simple doorway into this practice — no expertise required, just curiosity and a few minutes outside.

The fine hairs on a sunflower stem have a name. Trichomes. They're the plant's first line of sensing and protection, present before the permanent skin forms, staying for the life of the plant.
Roughly 15 to 20 percent of people have a nervous system that works the same way. Processing more deeply. Feeling more. Noticing what others walk past.
Research shows these same people restore more deeply in nature too. The same sensitivity that makes the noise louder makes the stillness more restorative.

January can feel like you’re behind before you’ve even started, and I don’t think it’s a character flaw.

Winter is a real environment, and it changes what our bodies and nervous systems need (especially in Canada).

Holidays can be sweet… and a little intense.

Here in the Eastern Townships, Quebec, one of the kindest holiday traditions is also the simplest: step outside, even for two minutes. Cold air, winter light, and a reset you can bring back to the table.
