Held in Hope is for the woman who feels like her world has seismically shifted.

Maybe you have discovered po*******hy use, emotional betrayal, adultery, secrecy, or other sexual sin in your marriage. Maybe you feel shocked, angry, ashamed, confused, numb, or alone.

You do not need to carry this by yourself.

Held in Hope is a small, confidential, online support group designed to help women process betrayal with biblical clarity, compassion, and hope in Christ.

What can a woman expect when she joins Held in Hope?

In this video, Sam, one of our co-facilitators, shares what women can expect from the group—and offers encouragement to anyone who feels unsure or afraid to take that first step.

Held in Hope is a small, confidential, Christ-centred online support group for women affected by a spouse’s sexual betrayal, including po*******hy use, emotional affairs, adultery, or other sexual sin.

You do not need to have everything figured out. You will not be pressured to share more than you are ready to share. You will be met with compassion, biblical truth, prayer, and the support of women who understand that betrayal is not something you should have to process alone.

What does it look like to trust God’s leading when grief has left your mind feeling paralyzed?

In this honest reflection, Janis shares how the Lord is teaching her to dance again—not because her circumstances have changed, but because His comfort, grace, and faithfulness are renewing her hope.

Through suffering, lament, and the gentle work of God, she is learning to loosen her grip, follow His lead, and rest in the peace Christ provides.

😠 Anger is often a symptom before it’s a problem.

When life doesn’t go the way we expect, our hearts reveal what we’re trusting, fearing, or demanding. While anger can be a righteous response to injustice, it can also become destructive when it flows from selfish desires, pride, or a desire to control.

If anger has become a recurring struggle—for you or someone you love—we highly recommend this excellent minibook from New Growth Press:

📘 Controlling Anger: Responding Constructively When Life Goes Wrong by David Powlison

This short, practical resource offers biblical wisdom to help you understand your anger, examine your heart, and respond in ways that honor Christ.

📖 “Let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger; for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God.” — James 1:19–20

At the Biblical Living Center, we’ve seen that lasting change doesn’t come from simply trying harder—it comes from the transforming grace of Jesus Christ.
