We had the absolute pleasure of treating this lovely patient who traveled from Ottawa to see us for a complete facial rejuvenation. 🤩 To achieve harmonious results, here is what we did:
1️⃣ The foundation of this transformation relies on the deep plane face and neck lift, which lifts and repositions the deeper tissues of the face and neck to ensure a natural, long-lasting youthfulness. To refine the jawline, we performed a conservative excision of the bilateral submandibular glands. By addressing these glands, we were able to create a defined, crisp jawline and neck profile that skin tightening alone could not achieve.
2️⃣ To restore lost volume and soften transitions, we performed a strategic fat transfer to the temples, tear troughs, pre-jowls, forehead, and nasolabial folds, adding a natural volume back to the face.
3️⃣ Finally, a full-face CO2 laser was used to target skin quality. While the surgery addresses structure and volume, the CO2 laser improves the actual quality, texture, and tone of the skin.
You will also notice a unique patterned suture technique in the post-op photo. That is a hemostatic net. This technique gently compresses the skin against her new contours, which reduces the risk of hematomas, minimizes swelling, and supports a smooth healing process.
