Reelected for a second term, fr. Yves will continue guiding the Province through a period of demographic change and renewed apostolic discernment.

The brothers of the Dominican Province of Canada have reelected fr. Yves Bériault, OP, as Prior Provincial. His election for a second mandate was confirmed by the Master of the Order, fr. Gerard Francisco Timoner III, OP, on July 15.

The Chapter elected the following brothers as members of the diffinitorium: fr. Lamphone Phonevilay, OP; fr. José Kahombo Apolinário, OP; fr. Raymond Latour, OP; and fr. Hervé Tremblay, OP. Together with the Prior Provincial, the diffinitors will assist in the governance of the Province and in implementing the decisions of the Provincial Chapter.
