Exam week is here! I’ve finished my written portion and have my practical exam this evening! Feeling confident heading into this one..
After exam completion, that wraps up my Involuntary Mechanisms module, which focused on Cranial Osteopathy and Manual Lymphatic Therapy.
Cranial Osteopathy is a gentle, hands-on approach that works with the subtle movements of the head and facial bones, fascial membranes that support the brain and protect the spinal cord, and cerebrospinal fluid to help support the body’s natural ability to regulate and heal.
Manual Lymphatic Therapy uses light, rhythmic techniques to encourage healthy lymphatic flow, helping reduce congestion, support immune function, and promote overall wellness.
After exams, I’ll be spending two full days in class learning half of our Visceral Manipulation techniques. This approach focuses on the mobility and function of the body’s internal organs and their surrounding connective tissues. Restrictions within the viscera can affect movement, posture, circulation, and comfort throughout the body, so treatment aims to restore healthy motion and improve overall function.
It’s hard to believe how much we’ve covered in such a short amount of time!
Finishing this module strong before diving into the next one. Thank you to everyone who has allowed me to practice! The feedback that requests more Manual Osteopathy for subsequent therapy is very encouraging! 🤠
Have a beautiful week everyone!
