August! 🌻

We had another great month. It went by a little too fast but that’s ok, we lost a couple of our great friends which has been quite hard.
We did have a lot of laughs and learnt new things.

So here is to the new month and here is a new calendar for September. Looking forward to another great month!

Hey Everyone!

So a couple of things! First off- we have sold an absolute tonne of pies 🙂 we are up to $1800 sold so far! We still have a select few different kinds frozen and ready to go!
Apple, Blueberry, Raisin and I believe a couple small cherry! 👏👏
Just reach out if you would like to purchase any!

Also Maegan from the Library reached out to me about a program on September 2nd. Please see the below information sheets! If you or any of your family members in The Cobblestone House would like to attend I would love to know 🙂 I’m sure we can get a little trial and may not need to be there the whole time- so if anyone is interested I will gladly look into it more.

A whole lot of people showed up for our residents! A massive thank you to Sandy for organizing this and getting everyone together for our 2nd annual Pie Sale!

We baked a total of 110 pies!
We sold over 40 so far

If you are looking for a pie to freeze or just to eat right now (because, why not?) we have pies for you!

This fundraiser helps with the cost for entertainment, dial-a-van trips out, any extra costs that come with outings. If you are able to help for a few hours or more please let me know when you can make it. We start at 9am tomorrow.

Hi everyone!

We are in need of a couple of extra hands this Tuesday starting at 9 am. Any help will be greatly appreciated

To help with:
-set up
-mixing pastry
-rolling pastry
-mixing filling (recipes and directions provided), -filling pie shells
-running to ovens and baking bringing down to 1st from ovens
-bagging and labelling
-clean up

Once these pies are made they will be avaliable for purchase 🙂
Baked pies will be $25

All the proceeds go towards our recreation side. For trips, activities and getting them out the house.
