Happy Tuesday!

We have decided to stop letting the rain affect our moods!

Monday Moosomin Visual Arts Centre came by and did some amazing X & 0 boards! They look incredible! Thanks again you always keep us guessing and having fun!

Today we did our morning exercise and then a couple of us went to the Birnie’s green house in Wawota, followed by ice cream from Korner Kones.

Tomorrow we will have a Movie afternoon 🍿🥤🎟️

Exciting News at The Cobblestone House!

There’s a familiar face stepping into a new role.

We are pleased to announce that Tami Barrett has joined our leadership team as our Part-Time Nurse. Many residents, families, and staff will already know Tami from her time as our relief nurse, and we are thrilled to welcome her into this expanded position.

In her new role, Tami will provide clinical leadership and support for resident care, helping us continue our commitment to providing exceptional care and service to those who call The Cobblestone House home.

As we celebrate this exciting addition to our leadership team, we would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to Amber for her dedication and commitment over the past several years. Amber has played an instrumental role in supporting our residents, families, and staff, and we are grateful for the compassion, flexibility, and leadership she brings to our home each day.

Amber will continue to be a valued part of our team as Home Administrator, where she will focus on the many administrative and operational responsibilities that help keep our home running smoothly.

Please join us in welcoming Tami to her new role and thanking Amber for her continued dedication to The Cobblestone House family.

What a wonderful Friday Night!🎂

We had 5 birthdays this month so it was a wonderful celebration!

Thank you Abby for (as always) the most amazing cake!

Another month another Shop, we love bag days at the thrift store 🛍️
We had less people, but you wouldn’t know 😂
This has become a staple on our calendar- once a month we thrift shop and we love it! ❤️

Happy Tuesday!

Yesterday we had 3 birthdays!

We have started our days with gentle exercises ❤️

Yesterday afternoon we had sip and sunshine- it was a little windy for our residents however we managed to get some sunlight.

This afternoon we were going to be painting rocks with the kinders- however the weather is unpredictable and we didn’t want them walking in a potential storm. We will be rescheduling that.

Tomorrow we have our Thrift store shop at 1pm 🙂

Today we went for a group walk this morning and hung out with our neighbours, which was lovely.
It was a chill afternoon and we got a few puzzles completed! ❤️

Today we had the wonderful Carlie for our yoga class this morning from Anytime Fitness.
We had a smaller class, but we still had 11 people 🙂

Then we had nail painting! We had a lot of different colours today ❤️

Tomorrow’s lake trip will be postponed due to the rain that’s predicted but that’s ok! We will do something different.

Happy Monday!!

Today we had a gentle start to the day with gentle exercises.

This afternoon we had the wonderful Melissa from Moosomin Visual Arts Centre show us how to create these beautiful masterpiece’s!

Hello everyone!

Here is the calendar for the month of June!
We have lots of outings and now have some options for transportation so I can fit more than 4 yay!!! 😀

If you or your family member are interested in any of these please let me know. Please call the number on the bottom of the calendar for questions or to leave a message for me.

With some of the activities we have lots of last minute 😬🎉 I haven’t had to yet, but I would hate to turn anyone away. It leaves me scrambling for help last minute which hasn’t been an issue yet but it can delay things and obligations. I don’t want it to become an issue for our residents and the fun we have planned. 🛍️🕺🍦🎉

All calendar’s will be distributed to each and every resident today 🙂
