🎉🌿 I PASSED!! 🌿🎉

It's official — after an intense 8 days of training and two courses, I have successfully completed Level 2 Manual Lymphatic Drainage and am officially an Applied Lymphatic Therapist!

YAY ME! 😂💗

These last two weeks have been A LOT. Learning, practicing, studying, second-guessing myself, practicing some more…and then putting it all together for my Level 2 exam.

But I did it. And it was worth every moment.

So…what's next? 🌿

First, I need to find myself a hydraulic massage table! Having a table that I can easily adjust to the height I need will make MLD treatments much more practical and allow me to position myself properly throughout the treatment.

Then I'll be working on how to best introduce MLD at TLC,
treatment options,
appointment lengths,
pricing,
booking,
and getting plenty of hands-on practice with everything I've learned.

And this isn't where the journey ends.

My next goal is Level 3, which is an important step toward becoming a Certified Lymphatic Therapist and expanding my training to work with more complex lymphatic conditions, including
lymphedema and lipedema,
as well as supporting patients affected by cancer and cancer treatments.

This scholarship gave me the opportunity to begin this path with Levels 1 and 2, and now I'm excited to figure out how to take that next step. 🌿📚

I'm not opening MLD appointments quite yet. I want to take my time, get everything set up properly, and make sure I'm confident in the care I'm providing before officially launching the service.

But it's coming. 💗

Thank you to everyone who has encouraged me, asked how class was going, let me practice techniques, and cheered me on through these last two courses.

Before I go into class, I also wanted to share this local gofundme for this single mom of 2 kids who is undergoing cancer treatment.

I can't imagine the stress that would cause when just being a parent is hard! I know I am not physically able to donate right now, but I am able to share it on my platform so our community can rally around this wonderful woman and help her and her kids through the hardest fight of their lives.
