🧠 September is Concussion Awareness Month
A concussion is more than “just a bump to the head.” It’s a brain injury that can affect how you think, feel, move, and function — and symptoms don’t always appear right away.
Headaches, dizziness, fatigue, sensitivity to light or sound, difficulty concentrating, and changes in mood can all be signs of a concussion.
💙 Recovery doesn’t have to mean doing nothing. With the right assessment, education, and gradual return to activity, physiotherapy can play an important role in recovery.
If you or someone you know has experienced a recent concussion, don’t ignore the symptoms. Early support can make a difference.
This Concussion Awareness Month, let’s recognize the signs, take concussions seriously, and support safe recovery. 🧠
