Hey everyone! Just a quick heads up ❤️

NL Health Services is switching over to a new electronic system this week (EPIC / CorCare). CorCare is a great change, but like anything new, there may be a few bumps along the way.

What this means for you coming to see me:

👉 A lot of requisitions will be paperless now
👉 Some providers might not automatically give you a copy and may not be aware that there is an option to print for external collection.

BUT -if you’re coming here, you can absolutely ask your provider to print your requisition for you. External collectors currently do not have access to CorCare and need the paper copy in order to process your bloodwork.

I just wanted to put that out there in case anyone runs into confusion or gets told something different.

As always, if you’re not sure what to do, just message me or call the clinic , I’ll help you figure it out 😊
