Take the first step toward becoming an 𝙀𝙢𝙚𝙧𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙮 𝙈𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧. This 10-day course provides essential knowledge and hands-on skills to respond to medical emergencies and prepare for EMR certification.

✔ Current Intermediate (Standard) First Aid/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain before start of EMR training)

🎉 End-of-Year Celebration Visit 🎉

We recently had the opportunity to visit the St. John Ambulance Gonzaga High School Response Team to celebrate another successful year of service and dedication.

Throughout the school year, these student volunteers have demonstrated leadership, compassion, and a commitment to helping others. Their willingness to step up when needed helps create a safer and more supportive environment for their fellow students and school community.

Thank you to all of the team members for your hard work and dedication this year. We hope you enjoy a well-deserved summer break, and we look forward to seeing what you'll accomplish in the year ahead! 💚🚑

🎉 End-of-Year Celebration Visit 🎉

We recently had the pleasure of dropping by O’Donel High School to celebrate another successful year with their St. John Ambulance High School Response Team.

These dedicated student volunteers have made a tremendous impact within their school, responding to medical incidents and helping create a safer environment for their peers.

A special congratulations to the team on being named the City of Mount Pearl's Youth Group of the Year! This outstanding achievement is a testament to their dedication, leadership, teamwork, and commitment to serving others. The recognition is incredibly well deserved and reflects the positive difference they make in their school and community every day.

💚 Community Connections in Action 💚

On June 4, St. John Ambulance was pleased to participate in the Community Well-Being Fair at Jack Byrne Arena, presented by the Community Sector Council NL and the Health Care Foundation.

The event brought together non-profits, community organizations, businesses, and service providers who support well-being. Attendees enjoyed educational sessions, inspiring speakers, fitness and movement demonstrations, and interactive booths showcasing programs and services available throughout our communities.

Representing St. John Ambulance were staff members Bonnie, Heather, and Alona, along with Therapy Dog volunteers Helen and Paul. Our Instructor and Board Chair, Paul, was also in attendance, helping connect with community members and share information about the services and programs we offer.

Thank you to the Community Sector Council NL and the Health Care Foundation for hosting this wonderful event and providing an opportunity for organizations to come together, build connections, and promote healthier, stronger communities.
