A friendly reminder to all of my wonderful clients;
I know summer is short, and we all want to make the most of the beautiful weather while it’s here. Last-minute plans, weekends away, and spontaneous adventures are part of what makes this season so enjoyable, and I completely understand wanting to take advantage of them. 🩵
With that in mind, I’d like to kindly remind everyone of my cancellation policy. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice are subject to a 50% cancellation fee, and missed appointments or cancellations without notice are subject to the full appointment fee.
This reminder is not directed at any one person. I’ve simply noticed an increase in last-minute cancellations during the summer months and wanted to gently remind everyone of the policy.
I am currently booked until September and am operating from a cancellation list for anyone hoping to get in sooner. Because of this, communicating as early as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment gives me the best opportunity to offer that time to another client who is waiting.
As a small business owner, my income is directly dependent on the appointments I book. When an appointment is cancelled on short notice, it’s often too late to fill that time, resulting in lost income. While certain situations will always be considered on a case-by-case basis, the cancellation policy will otherwise be applied consistently.
