Central Drugs Central Drugs has been operating since 1892. We currently have seven locations in the Nanaimo area, all locally owned and operated by pharmacists.

Having been Nanaimo's homegrown pharmacy for the past 125 years, we're extremely proud of the legacy that we've established. We're even more proud about our mission today - creating healthy relationships one patient at a time. Using our Pharmacy First approach, we chose to operate Central Drugs with you in mind. Central Drugs is proud to introduce our vial recycling program at all seven Central Drugs locations!

Instead of tossing your empty prescription vials into the garbage, bring them back to us for proper recycling. It's one more way we can work together to reduce waste and care for our community.

✅Return any unused medication in a clear plastic bag separately
✅Peel off the prescription label as much as possible (sticky residue left behind is fine).
✅Separate the vial and lid before dropping them into the bin.

☀️ 1 teaspoon for your face and neck
☀️ 1 ounce (about a shot glass) for your body
☀️ Reapply every 2 hours and after swimming
