We went All-In for our Father's Day party and hosted a Casino day! There was a few Suspicious Minds at the Blackjack table. The party was made complete with a Full-House performance by ELVIS. Some residents got All Shook Up while dancing. Everyone had a lot of fun and no one got into any Trouble! 😉 Just needed a pair of Blue Suede Shoes in the audience.

Today, for a little extra summer fun, we celebrated National Ice Cream Soda day with Ice Cream floats in the afternoon. The residents enjoyed choosing from various flavours and adding the vanilla ice cream to make their float just right. Yum!

♦️♠️ Viva Las Vegas is coming to Lakeside Gardens! ♥️♣️

Join us on next Friday, June 19th, for an amazing day of Casino Day fun featuring poker tables, roulette, slot machines, and a special Elvis performance beginning at 2:30 PM.

Break out the sequins, sunglasses, and best Vegas-inspired outfits because residents are invited to come dressed as Hollywood stars or classic gangsters for the occasion!

What happens in Vegas might stay in Vegas… but we have a feeling the Elvis dance moves will be talked about for weeks. 🎲

We are looking forward to celebrating National Go Fishing Day with a morning out at Diver’s Lake 🎣

Join us on Thursday, June 18, as we head to the dock for a fun morning of fishing with . Whether you are an experienced fisher or simply looking to enjoy the fresh air and good company, this is a great opportunity to spend time outdoors and try something new together.

The bus will depart at 9:15 AM to arrive at Diver’s Lake for 9:30 AM. All fishing gear will be provided by Fishing For Fun.

Spots are limited and will be available for sign-up at the front desk the week before until all spots are taken. We can't wait to see you there!

We have really been enjoying our Nature Walks since the weather has warmed. The Seawall and Departure Bay beach are reminiscent for many of the residents. The upgraded park at Swy-a-lana Lagoon has wonderfully inclusive play equipment that we had to test out! This kind of fun keeps us young! One of the residents mentioned watching a circus at departure bay beach!

Good company and ice cream make for a pretty great afternoon.

Residents are invited to join us on Wednesday, June 3 at 2:30 PM in the lobby for our Ice Cream Social. A chance to sit together, catch up, and enjoy a little something sweet.
