“Sprouts” Emergent Readers Camp (Ages 4-7) - July 6-10

This small-group program supports emerging readers by building literacy skills through storytelling, listening, and early decoding. Children strengthen their understanding of words and meaning by hearing and retelling stories, exploring speech and letter sounds, and connecting speech and language to print—all in a supportive, engaging setting that fosters confidence and a love of reading.

We'd love to answer any questions you have about any of our camps. Contact us at the information in our profile. Spots are limited—register today!

We are so excited to support your child in their literacy goals this summer with our Literacy Summer Camps!

Our literacy programs are informed by the “Science of Reading”, which distills 50 years of research evidence on how children learn to read. The Orton-Gillingham® approach to reading is a structured literacy, multi-sensory teaching approach that puts the science into practice, addresses reading issues at their roots, and is ideal for neuro-divergent learners. Our programs are developed by a collaboration of our Certified Orton-Gillingham® Literacy Specialist, our Certified teachers, our Speech Language Pathologists, our Occupational Therapists, and our Social Thinking® expert.

Individual tutoring sessions available too!

🐾 It’s Pet Appreciation Week! 🐾

Did you know that reading to pets can be a great way to support your child’s literacy skills? Pets are the ultimate judgment-free audience—they don’t mind mistakes, they’re great listeners, and they make reading feel safe and fun.

Reading out loud helps build confidence, fluency, and language skills—and having a furry friend nearby can make it even more motivating for kids.

No pet at home? No problem! Many local libraries offer programs where children can read to therapy animals.

Whether it’s a dog, cat, or even a very patient stuffed animal, every listener counts.
