It was the 4th Floor Puzzlers vs. the 2nd Floor Puzzlers for a friendly afternoon competition! With puzzle pieces spread across the tables and plenty of teamwork, everyone got down to business putting those 500 pieces together.

For years, Émile followed the sport he loves from home. This summer, the 98-year-old from Lévis, Quebec, got to experience the excitement in person, travelling with his daughter to attend the US Open Men's Final in New York.

With surprise courtside seats and a front-row view of an unforgettable match, the trip exceeded every expectation.

Cruise Week took residents at Chartwell Wedgewood on a virtual trip to Sweden. After exploring Stockholm through a documentary, they hit the dance floor for an ABBA disco and line dancing party, complete with Swedish-inspired refreshments. Happy National Seniors Day from Edgewater!

Today, we celebrated the incredible residents who make our community so special with a delightful afternoon tea filled with sweet treats, laughter, and meaningful conversation.

One of the highlights of the day was sharing "Words of Wisdom" from our residents. From reminders to be grateful for what we have, to finding humour in everyday life, their life experiences continue to inspire us all.

Aloha from Edgewater by Chartwell! 🌴🌺

Our residents spent the day soaking up the spirit of Hawaii during our Port of Call adventure! From tropical attire and island-themed activities to delicious refreshments and plenty of laughter, everyone embraced the Aloha spirit.

The highlight of the afternoon was gathering together for a tropical toast, celebrating friendship, community, and the joy of sharing new experiences. Mahalo to everyone who helped make this island getaway so special!

Sunshine, butterflies, and breathtaking ocean views made for an unforgettable day!

Our residents spent the morning at Butterfly World, surrounded by beautiful butterflies, lush greenery, and nature's wonders. The highlight was seeing butterflies gently land nearby, giving everyone an up-close experience with these amazing creatures.
We then enjoyed a picnic lunch at Qualicum Beach, where residents relaxed, shared stories, and took in the stunning waterfront scenery.

Days like these remind us of the joy that comes from getting out, exploring, and spending time together.

What a sweet afternoon at our Ice Cream Social!
Residents enjoyed creating their own delicious ice cream sundaes with a variety of toppings, from sprinkles and cherries to chocolate treats. The fun continued with a wonderful musical performance by Glen Foster that had everyone tapping their toes, singing along, and even dancing!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for an afternoon filled with laughter, music, and sweet treats. Moments like these make our community so special.

Nothing beats an afternoon by the ocean!

Our visit to Pipers Lagoon was filled with sunshine, fresh coastal air, and wonderful company. Residents enjoyed walking the sandy shoreline, relaxing by the water, and sharing conversations while taking in the incredible views. The windy weather only added to the beauty of the day, reminding us to slow down and appreciate nature's simple pleasures.
