We were happy to be a part of the successful 40th Silly Boat Regatta. Monica and I (Shawn) very busy today! I walked more 37,000 steps with my activities!! It was all for such a great cause. There were so many great volunteers and community members that made this event a success. We are thankful to be living in such a great community with such great people. Fred Penner definitely drew a big crowd! Great performance by such a legendary children’s musician.

This is our 20th year working at Silly Boat Regatta for the Nanaimo Child Development Centre. My wife, Monica and I (Shawn) are happy to once again be part of the organizing committee for this great charity. This year we are happy to have special cookies from the “Twisted Sisters” Tara & Colleen to help us celebrate the 40th anniversary. We want to thank you so much for such a beautiful gift.

If anyone has a couple hours and would like to come down and volunteer, we would truly appreciate your help
