We often hear about Seasonal Affective Disorder and its impacts on us as Canadians during the low-light and cold months, but Seasonal Affective Disorder can also occur for us during the summer, with triggers including: the change in sleeping routines, extreme heat, and the pressure to be more social.
I’m currently taking on a limited number of clients during the summer months as well as clients interested in getting started in September.
My focuses include: communication & relationships (romantic, family dynamics); trauma (childhood, relationship, workplace, significant incident); First Responders and their family members; men’s mental health and working with Queer-identifying clients.
Please reach out to me, Michael Wade MSW, RSW, via my website if you are interested in beginning psychotherapy in the coming weeks/months.
