Before becoming a physiotherapist, I spent 4 seasons working as a tree planter 🌲
I know firsthand what it means to push your body day after day — the repetition, the long hours, the aches that show up in your hands, wrists, shoulders, hips, and back… and the pressure to keep going because stopping means losing trees (and income).
During my planting years, and since becoming a physio, I’ve worked with planters both in-person and remotely while they were still in camp — helping them:
✔️ Modify planting ergonomics to reduce strain
✔️ Use taping techniques to keep working through flare-ups
✔️ Manage overuse injuries before they became season-ending
✔️ Understand what their pain was actually telling them
Planting is demanding work. You don’t need generic advice — you need someone who understands the reality of the job.
If you're a planter dealing with pain, tightness, or recurring injuries, I offer physiotherapy support grounded in real planting experience.
Your body is your livelihood — let’s keep it strong for the whole season.
