Central Queen's Funeral Home is seeking a compassionate and dependable Administrative Assistant to join our team.

Schedule: Wednesday–Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (up to three days per week)

Wage: $20.00 per hour

This position involves providing administrative support and assisting our funeral directors withadministrative details.

Qualifications
• Strong administrative and organizational skills
• Computer experience is an asset
• Excellent communication and compassionate customer service skills
• Professional, respectful, and able to maintain confidentiality

Michael H. MacKenzie

September 26, 1969 - July 7, 2026

It is with heavy, broken hearts that we announce the sudden, tragic passing of Michael H. MacKenzie. Michael was a devoted and caring primary care paramedic for thirty-five years, though he wore many other career hats as well.

Mike was the most loving, dedicated husband to his beautiful wife of nearly twenty-nine years Cathy MacKenzie. One of Mike's biggest passions and greatest achievements was his three beautiful children of whom he was so very proud, Reilly, Jakob, and Maria. Mike loved with his entire heart. He was always his family's biggest cheerleader and greatest supporter. Mike's love of people and life was evident through the career that he led and the way that he loved with no limitations. He was an extraordinary man who was loved by all those whose lives he touched.

He will be profoundly missed and his memory will be cherished always.

Visitation and funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date.
