Happy ! โค๏ธ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’œ

As an organization, we are proud to have a diverse group of staff, volunteers and delegates representing people across the 2SLGBTQI+ spectrum on our team.

The Canadian Red Cross is deeply committed to its humanitarian mission and creating respectful and inclusive environments for the people we serve and our personnel. Discrimination and stigmatization have no place within our organization.

A traumatic event can have a profound impact on your wellbeing, and all of us are affected in different ways.

Here are steps you can take to make the situation more manageable for you and your loved ones:

- Maintain simple daily routines
- Stay connected, talk or spend time with others
- Accept support and assistance
- Allow yourself to feel sadness and grief
- Share a hug with someone you trust
- Focus on one small, manageable task at a time
- Do one thing today that helps you feel grounded

โš ๏ธMost people picture a heart attack as sudden, crushing chest pain. But while chest and arm pain ARE symptoms, sometimes, the signs are much quieter and easier to miss.

These can all be signs of a heart attack:
1. Extreme fatigue
2. Gastric discomfort, nausea or vomiting
3. Flu-like symptoms
4. Dizziness or light-headedness
5. Chest discomfort that comes and goes, is not necessarily painful and gets better or worse depending on your activity

Knowing the signs matters.๐Ÿซ€Learn CPR: https://brnw.ch/21x0ldS
