Funeral Director / Funeral Home Manager

Newcastle Funeral Home is seeking an experienced, licensed Funeral Director to join our team in a leadership role as Funeral Home Manager.

This is an opportunity to work in a progressive, independently owned funeral home that has built a strong reputation for exceptional service while leading the way in innovative end-of-life care through Aquamation.

Responsibilities

* Oversee the day-to-day operations of the funeral home.
* Meet with families to arrange funeral, cremation, burial, and aquamation services.
* Coordinate services from first call through final disposition.
* Supervise and support funeral home staff.
* Ensure compliance with all BAO legislation and company policies.
* Assist with scheduling, staffing, and operational planning.
* Help maintain the high level of service and professionalism our families have come to expect.

Qualifications

* Licensed Funeral Director (Class 1) in Ontario.
* Management or supervisory experience is considered a strong asset.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
* Compassionate approach to family service.
* Valid Ontario driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
